Inflation for the month of September was 0.26% , above the rate of 0.23% recorded in August. The result was driven by the rise in gasoline , the item with the largest individual contribution to the Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA).
With September's result, inflation accumulated in 12 months was 5.19%, above the 4.61% observed in the immediately previous 12 months.
