Vivo Telefônica achieved a net profit of R$1,472 in the third quarter of 2023, an increase of 2.2% when compared to the second quarter of 2023.

The company reached the milestone of 98 million mobile accesses, strengthening its leadership position. In the postpaid segment, market share reached 43.6% by August 2023, an increase of 1.9 percentage points compared to the previous year, maintaining a churn (cancellation rate) of 1.09% in the third quarter of 2023.

The expansion of the fiber optic network, known as FTTH (Fiber to the Home), now covers 439 cities, with 25.1 million homes connected, representing an increase of 12.9% in homes passed compared to the previous year and a 13.5% increase in connected homes.

Net revenue grew at a rate of 7.5% per year, driven by revenue from mobile services, which grew 9.0% compared to the previous year. Fixed revenue showed a positive performance, with an increase of 3.1%, highlighting FTTH revenues, with a growth of 15.1%, and Corporate Data, ICT and Others, with an increase of 14. 7%.

EBITDA grew 11.7% per year, reaching a margin of 42.2%, an increase of 1.6 percentage points compared to the previous year. This is due to the solid performance of core revenues and cost control , including a positive effect of R$175 million related to the price adjustment following the acquisition of part of Oi Móvel's assets.

In the first nine months of 2023, Operating Cash Flow totaled R$8,901 million, with a margin of 23.1% in relation to net revenue . Investments totaled R$6,665 million, remaining at 17.3% of revenues, below the forecast of R$9 billion for the year 2023.

In the last line of the DRE , net profit reached R$3,429 million in the first nine months of 2023, marking an increase of 15.9% compared to the previous year. The company distributed remuneration of R$2,870 million to shareholders until October 2023, divided between interest on equity , dividends and share repurchases.
